Madrid has a hot and dry summer months, and mild spring temperatures so the best time to visit Madrid is between September and November. Madrid is home to some of the best museums in the world, so most of the major museums have free times throughout the week which saves a little cash.

Madrid has plenty of free sights and a walk around the city’s plazas and streets which will show off some of its highlights. Admire the architecture in the Plaza Mayor:- This impressive palace is the official residence of the Spanish Royal Family — but it’s only used for state ceremonies., walk down the city’s most famous street Gran Via, or watch as the sun goes down in the Puerta del Sol – the most interesting square to visit in town. Wander around parque del buen retiro – a beautiful oasis in the middle of a large, bustling city or explore Segovia – a colorful Spanish town that is home to an ancient Roman aqueduct.

Madrid nights are the stuff of legend, and the perfect complement to the more sedate charms of fine arts and fine dining. Step out into the night-time streets and you’ll find yourself swept along on a tide of people, accompanied by a happy crowd dancing until dawn.
